McGwire's Baseball Party

McGwire's baseball season ended last week. His end-of-the-season party was this afternoon. They had tons of watersliding fun! He was voted MVP by his team-mates. His batting average was 917. He went 22 for 24. He had 5 homeruns! I am so proud of him.

Kelsea's 5th Birthday

Kelsea celebrated her 5th birthday at Chuck E Cheese's.

Chuck E came out and she went running and hid under a table...she was scared to death!

Before she opened her gifts, she climbed up on the table and started yelling, "Attention, Attention! I'm about to open my presents....watch me!"

Kelsea's Baptism

Kelsea has wanted to get baptized for some time now....but she has been afraid because she didn't know how to swim. So, a couple of weeks ago she learned how to swim. I asked her if she was ready to get baptized now and she said...."Yes, and I will wear my goggles!" So, we called Papaw and he came to church this past Sunday (June 14) and baptized her in Jesus' name (goggles and all). When she got out of the water, she looked at Karly and said, "Karly, I'm all clean now!" After we got her all dried off and re-dressed, I took her to the bathroom. When she got finished she asked me, "Mommy, do I need to wash my hands? You know, Jesus just made me all clean?" She told me later on that day, that her heart was all clean and Jesus could live in there and she could get the Holy Ghost....then she turns to me and says, "What is the Holy Ghost again?"

Addyson is 5 months already!

I can't believe she is already 5 months old....time flies! She weighs 14 pounds 6 ounces and she is 27 1/2 inches long. She is in the 29th percentile for weight and the 97th percentile for height. She had a lot of "firsts" this month. She rolled over from front to back and from back to front. She can sit up for several seconds without any help. She said "MaMa". She also got her first ear infection.... :-(

She thinks she is so "big" sitting up in her bathtub now.
